Feeding the Hungry Along the Shoreline

get helpThe Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries is an interfaith service that provides food and fellowship to those in need and educates our community on hunger and poverty.

Grammy Award-winning pianist George Winston will be performing at The Kate on April 14th, and has invited attendees to show their support by bringing donations of food and funds for The Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries.

George Winston, one of the best known performers playing contemporary instrumental music, regularly supports organizations dedicated to hunger relief. At every concert he asks the audience to bring food items to support a local food pantry, and always donates proceeds from concert CD sales to help feed the hungry.

This is his second concert in Old Saybrook to benefit SSKP, and we are so honored and grateful to be a part of his concert on April 14th.

SSKP hopes to spread the word about this unique opportunity to support our mission, and is so thankful to George Winston for remembering the needs of those on the shoreline. Please support this effort and share this post with all your friends! Click here for information and tickets.
